POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Position Title: Program and Finance Manager

Rate of Pay: $30 per hour
Hours per week: 20 – 30 hours per week

Summary of Position Description:
COFA Alliance National Network Program and Finance Manager is responsible for the overall budget and finance operations of the organization.

Job responsibilities include,

  • In alignment with the COFA CANN mission and goals, serve as the Culturally Based Organization (CBO) lead to external partners including but not limited to:
    • Oregon Health Authority grants
    • Fiscal sponsors
    • Various counties of Oregon
  • Attend public and private meetings involving major projects and programs to ensure the
  • stories and lens of the COFA Pacific Islander community are part of the conversation
  • Manage all aspects of payroll for staff
  • Balance books monthly – experience with QuickBooks desired but not required
  • Assist in establishing improved policies and procedures for CANN finances
  • Oversee grant finances including budget reports to Oregon Health Authority
  • Provide ED with weekly budget updates
  • Assist with grant proposals and ongoing fundraising efforts
  • Assist with new 501c3 process
  • Assist Executive Director with daily oversight of CANN emails and staff
  • Support the Board, Executive Director and other staff in identifying and coordinating additional funding resources (foundations, businesses, leveraging of state and federal funds, etc.) to support the programmatic goals of CANN

Position Requirements:

  • Associates in business, accounting, or finance or minimum three years experience working in similar field 
  • Familiarity with various software systems and procedures
  • Experience with Quickbooks desired but not required
  • Office management or similar leadership experience
  • Non-profit / grass-roots organizational experience 
  • Experience working with COFA Pacific Island cultures desired but not required
  • Proven experience overseeing projects, programs and budgets
  • Experience with accounting required 
  • Supervisory experience desired but not required 
  • Access to a telephone, computer, and reliable internet connection.
  • Ability to comply with regulations and communicate official information in an appropriate manner
  • Advanced ability to coordinate efforts and maintain records
