Action needed:

1. Make a call or send an email to key decision makers before 2 p.m. today:

· If you live in Spokane: Content Representative Timm Ormsby and ask him to support an amendment to restore out of pocket costs. He is the Chair of the Committee, and he represents District 3 in Spokane.

· Call Committee Chair Timm Ormsby at: (360) 786-7946

· A staff member will answer the phone. Here is a sample of what to say: “Hi. I live in Spokane. I support House Bill 1291. I want to thank Representative Ormsby for co-sponsoring the bill. And I want to ask him to support an amendment to restore coverage of out of pocket costs. That is very important so that the program will work, and the benefits will be the same as for other people who are eligible for Medicaid.”

· OR, if you don’t want to call, you can email Representative Ormsby at timm.ormsby@leg.wa.gov. You can use the same sample message. Be SURE to include your name and address at the bottom of your message. Messages without addresses are not considered very seriously.
